AUDIENCE: Internal and External Coaches, Building Principals, and Members of New and Established School Teams

PRESENTER: PBIS Regional Coordinators/Colleen Mulder

DESCRIPTION: The coaching networking meetings will focus on coaching skills and resources for both internal and external coaches of new and established teams. Networking sessions will focus on specific district needs including: data collection, fidelity tools, professional development, “cool tools,” and examples of kick-off events, acknowledgement and reward systems, as well as group brainstorming regarding staff “buy in” and scheduling issues around PBIS that districts may be experiencing.

** Strongly suggest attendance by the building principal and new Internal/External coaches as well as all coaches in their first year of implementation at Tier 1 & 2.

STANDARDS:   WTS 5, 6, and 9; WAS 2 and 3; WPSS 2, 3, and 6

CREDIT: Networking meetings may be taken for graduate credit at an additional cost. Details will be discussed at the first meeting, October 25. If taken for credit you must attend all of the 4 sessions!

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event. CESA #4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA #4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA #4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Weather Conditions: If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA #4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations. Other Helpful Hints: Room temperatures vary from one workshop location to another, so bring a jacket or sweater for maximum comfort.
